A light and romantic summer wedding

First Look

Jenny and Daniel’s sweet summer wedding took place in Bohemian Topanga Canyon.

For Jenny and Daniel it was the Inn’s woodsy feel and luscious greenery that sparked their visions of a romantic yet modern wedding.

Bouquet

Wedding Florals for a Whimsically Chic Garden Wedding

Created by The Exotic Green Garden, this bouquet is made of peach garden roses, monte casino, white spray roses, peach roses, scabiosa pods, and seeded eucalyptus. Jenny added a personal touch to her bouquet and her “something blue and something borrowed” with some beautiful vintage second-hand brooches.

Daniel’s white spray rose and scabiosa pod boutonniere matched perfectly with Jenny’s bouquet.

Postcard Table Numbers

Love for DIY

Jenny loved her DIY; she created table numbers of vintage postcards to destinations that Jenny and Daniel had traveled to.

The wedding reception took place on the Creek Side at the Inn of the Seventh Ray.

Guest book with polaroid photos & props

Daniel was all into the Polaroid photo guestbook. Of course, guests are still posting photos on social media so our modern couple created a wedding sign asking guests to hashtag photos.

Krispy Kreme Favors

A personal favor is the best favor

Very sweet, very cute: Krispy Kreme is Jenny and Daniel’s favorite dessert and it is something they usually celebrate with. They created an adorable display of Krispy Kreme favors for their guests. Keeping it in the theme of traveling around the world, the Thank You cards on top of the favors are in different languages.

A bubbly ceremony

Ceremony

Retro sweetness: guests blew bubbles on the newlyweds after their first kiss.

More Romantics

Romantics

A couple romantics were taken after the ceremony.

Reused votive glasses

Hundreds of candles were lit when the sun set, mirroring thousands of twinkle lights in the trees. All votive glasses were collected over a whole year from various stores and on Craigslist.

Porto's Dessert Table

Dessert Details

Recyclable love-pun wooden cake forks

This enchanted dessert display contains a colorful array of Porto’s Bakery desserts. We especially love the BHLDN recyclable love-pun wooden cake forks. Each fork had an adorable love pun, such as “At First Bite, “Forkever and Always,” and “Yum and Only.”

Cake

Organic wedding cake

Jenny and Daniel cut their scrumptious banana and strawberry wedding cake made by the Inn of the Seventh Ray. The personalized golden Dr. & Mrs. cake topper was found on Etsy.

Sweetheart table

Covered in twinkle lights the sweetheart table couldn’t look more romantic.
