Flirty Bohemian wedding design

Cassandra and Ignacio’s beautiful flirty Bohemian wedding design in Topanga on Friday, July 15, was effortlessly eco friendly and is totally up our alley. We had a lot of fun with their playful, creative DIY. Of course, Cassandra later became Borrowed Blu’s Creative Director and Designer.

1. Wedding Trend 2016: DIY creativity

The table runners are Cassandra’s design and perfect for a Bohemian flirt wedding. The table setting: Golden chargers, (Ikea) old fashioned restaurant plates, whimsical vintage plates and water glasses. Brass bowls and vases came from Thrift and Antique stores. The blue candles sport LED lights; everything is re-usable and fun, like the handmade napkin rings.

Cassandra even created her own cake stands with trucs trouves. She glued eclectic glass plates onto brass and porcelain candle holders.

2. WeddingTrend for 2016: Home baked wedding cakes & desserts

3. Wedding Trend 2016: DIY wedding signage

Vintage framed pictures were re-used by painting the inside with chalkboard paint for DIY wedding signage.

4. Wedding Trend 2016: design your wedding dress

Cassandra created her beautiful dress from two separate articles of clothes and chose a bouquet entirely made from Kale.

Everybody played with masks and created a mini carnival for the photo booth to honor the Argentinian wedding tradition.
